- Sino-Tibetan, Tibeto-Burman, Ngwi-Burmese, Ngwi, Northern
- Language Use
- Being replaced by Chinese or varieties of closely related Nasu or both. Severely endangered in all 3 villages in Miyi County, endangered in most other places (Bradley 2007a). Many shifting to Chinese [zho]. Many shifting to Wusa Nasu [yig].
