Location:: Upper East region: Sandema district, Bolgatonga, Kpaliwogo, Nalerigu, Navrongo, and near Wa.
Language Status: 6b (Threatened).
Classification: Niger-Congo, Atlantic-Congo, Volta-Congo, North, Gur, Central, Northern, Oti-Volta, Western, Southeast
Dialects: None known. Reportedly similar to Kamara [jmr], Farefare [gur], and Dagbani [dag].
Language Use: Shifting to languages where they settled: those in Funsi now speak Pasaale [sig], those near Wa now speak Wali [wlx]. Home. Some of all ages. Also use Buli [bwu], especially in Sandema.
Language Development: Taught in primary schools.
