Those who marry into the community attain passive fluency in Wutung but don’t learn to speak it (Marmion 2010). Used by all. All also use English [eng] (Marmion 2010). All also use Tok Pisin [tpi] (Marmion 2010). Many also use Indonesian [ind] (Marmion 2010). Some also use Dumo [vam] (Marmion 2010). Some also use Skou [skv] (Marmion 2010).
