Location:: Madang province: upper Ramu river valley, close to Dumpu station.
Language Status: 6b (Threatened).
Classification: Trans-New Guinea, Madang, Rai Coast, Evapia
Language Use: Secret language when traveling to Madang town. Mixed use in all other domains with Tok Pisin [tpi], which is used more often than Watiwa. Some young people, all adults. All also use Tok Pisin [tpi].
