- Dialects
- Baltu-Kamatogu Kundi (Kamatogu Kundi), Wayu-Banga, Kwaroi Kundi (Kori Kundi, Kwaroi Kwundi), Nyanda Kundi, Sota Kundi (Sota). Nearly all speakers identify at least three dialects (Sota Kundi, Kwaroi Kundi, and Nyanda Kundi). Most speakers also identify a fourth dialect (Wayu-Banga), and some also identify a fifth (Baltu-Kamatogu Kundi) (Richardson and Tupper 2013).
- Language Use
- Mixed use in all domains except when communicating with outsiders, where Tok Pisin [tpi] is used. Some young people, all adults. Mixed attitudes, from positive to neutral. All also use Tok Pisin [tpi]. A few also use Mevembet [keh] (Richardson and Tupper 2013). Used as L2 by Mevembet [keh].
