Dialects: Palasi (Palas), Jalkoti (Jalkot), Kolai (Koli). A somewhat divergent variety of Shina linguistically and socially. Reportedly similar to Shina [scl] of Chilas, but more distant from Gilgit [scl] dialect.
Language Use: Vigorous. All domains. Used by all. Positive attitudes. Used as L2 by Bateri [btv], Chilisso [clh], Gowro [gwf].
