Population: 30,000 (2002). All Mnong in Viet Nam, based on ethnicity: 127,000 (2019 census).
Location:: Mostly Dak Nong and Binh Phuoc provinces, south of Central Mnong [cmo], north of Stieng [stt] language areas; some in Lam Dong province.
Language Status: 6a* (Vigorous). Language of recognized ethnic group: Mnong.
Classification: Austro-Asiatic, Mon-Khmer, Eastern Mon-Khmer, Bahnaric, South Bahnaric, Sre-Mnong, Mnong, Southern-Central Mnong
Other Comments: Part of the Mnông official ethnic community (102,741, 2009 census). Ra-Ong, Bu Sre, Bu Dip, and Kuenh are possibly subgroups.
