Dialects: None known. Not intelligible with other Yambasa languages. Lexical similarity: 59% with Nubaca [baf], 51% with Yangben [yav], 43% with Elip [ekm], 44% with Mmaala [mmu] (2015 G. Boyd).
Language Use: The younger genearations are learning and using the language as long as they stay in the village (2014 SIL). Some young people, all adults. Mixed attitudes, from neutral to positive. Most also use Basaa [bas]. Most also use French [fra]. Most also use Yangben [yav].
