- Aberu, Meje (Medje, Meegye), Mangbetu, Makere, Malele, Popoi. Medje dialect has most speakers, and is most widely understood.

- Many also use Bangala [bxg], but a few have low proficiency. Also use Congo Swahili [swc], especially Popoi and Aberu dialect speakers. Used as L2 by Asoa [asv], Lika [lik], Ngbee [jgb].
