Classification: Aymaran, Tupe
Dialects: Cauqui (Cachuy, Kawki). The Cauqui dialect has few remaining speakers. Lexical similarity: 73% with Aymara [ayr], 79% with Cauqui dialect and Aymara.
Typology: 36 consonants and 6 vowels (3 short, 3 long).
Language Use: Adults only. Shifting to Spanish [spa]. Used as L2 by Chincha Quechua [qxc].
