- None known. Lexical similarity: Inlaod of Langiden 73% with Ilocano [ilo]; Inlaud of Danglas 71% with Ilocano, 75%–77% with Binongan Itneg [itb], 75%–76% with Masadiit [tis] of Sallapadan, 74%–75% with Moyadan Itneg [ity]. Inlaud of Langiden and Inlaud of Danglas 86% with each other.
- Language Use
- Vigorous in some communities. The language is still spoken by all generations but not all children and adults speak it in communities in the Ilocos region that are heavily populated by Ilocanos (2020 SIL). Home, community. Some young people, all adults. In Ilocos region, there are now more children who are speaking Ilocano [ilo] as L1. The low proficiency of the children in the language was revealed by the result of L1 materials field-testing (2020 SIL). Also use English [eng]. Also use Filipino [fil]. Also use Ilocano [ilo].
- Language Development
- MTB-MLE materials have been developed for the Inlaud Itneg communities in the provinces of Ilocos Sur and Ilocos Norte in Ilocos Region (Region 1) since 2018 (2020 SIL).
