Dialects: None known. Related to Krinkati-Timbira [xri], Canela [ram], and Krahô [xra].
Typology: 11 consonants and 10 vowels, including 3 nasal vowels.
Language Use: Ceremonies, songs, speeches. Adults only. Positive attitudes. All shifting to Portuguese [por], increasingly, a particular regional variety, and especially in schools.
