Location:: Sila region: Dar Fongoro area along Sudan border.
Language Status: 8b (Nearly extinct).
Classification: Nilo-Saharan, Satellite-Core, Satellites, Central Sudanic, West, Bongo-Bagirmi, Sara-Bagirmi
Language Use: Older adult speakers may remain and others living in isolated places. No remaining speakers in Sudan. Shifted to Fur [fvr].
Other Comments: The tse-tse fly is a problem in the area.
