Southern Eton (Iton Nke, Upper Eton), Northern Eton (Iton Ekwe, Lower Eton). Intelligible of Bulu [bum], Ewondo [ewo], and Fang [fan]. Reportedly most similar to Mengisa [mct].
Some urban youth speak French as L1. Used by all. Most also use Ewondo [ewo]. Most also use French [fra]. Many also use Bulu [bjl]. Some also use English [eng].
