Different from Davawenyo dialect of Chavacano [cbk]. 2 dialects: East Coast (90% of speakers), and Davao City area (Whinnom 1956). Lowland Davawenyo have 89% intelligibility of Kamayo [kyk].

- Also use Cebuano [ceb], particularly by Lowland Davawenyo, whereas Highland Davawenyo have only low comprehension of it.
