Dialects: Batek Teq (Teq), Batek De’ (Deq), Batek Iga, Batek Nong (Nong). Deq and Nong dialects may be separate languages.
Language Use: Some young people, all adults. Also use Malay [msa]. Also use Temiar [tea] (Bradley 2007a). Used as L2 by Mintil [mzt].
