Language Use: All shifted to English [eng].
Language Development: Dictionary. Grammar. Texts. Chumash descendants interested in restoring traditional culture and language. Chumash Living Language Revitalization Project established in 1999.
Other Comments: May be the same language as Ineseño [inz] (Mithun 1999).
